Thanksgiving Parade

I decided that it is no longer safe to attend
the NYC Thanksgiving Parade.
Looking for a good substitute I discovered just that while visiting family in
Texas.
Parking near the parade was easy as it was going into downtown HOUSTON.
Low price of gas, parking, and easy access was a BIG plus.
Security was superb and in full view.
The parade route was so well laid out.
The parade started and ended at the same location.
The parade route circled a large multi-block loop around downtown,
This allowed easy drop-off and pick-up a snap for participants.
Viewers could select a location to watch the parade at 10am or 11am or both !
I selected mid-loop and after the parade ended at my location,
I went two blocks over and saw the last half of the parade again,
and get this, from the other side of the parade.
Everyone for all walks of life and culture was represented in and at the parade.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and cheered all those represented in the parade.
Again, security was superb and in full display as was the American Flag.

While waiting for the Houston parade to start, US-Today streamed
the NYC Parade and I felt safe to watch it in Texas far from
the protestors and crime.
