West Glacier National Park
West Glacier. Click on each image to enlarge. These mountain hikers were found while I was there.
They hiked up the glaciers, while I stayed down on the lake.
Camping on the lake tonight.
Dear are everywhere. These were near my camp site on the lake.
After getting my camp site, I went looking for food - found some 25 miles away
in "town" by leaving Glacier and going to Flathead.
The closest thing to Panera in this part of the country. This store was 35 miles away from
commercial electrical power, so they had their own power plaint.
The store in town was just 22 miles from Canada.
Once you drive out of West Glacier you can better see West Glacier, but 25 miles of bad road!
Headed back to camp for the night.
