Hey, if a 6 year old can do this, I should be able.  Can you see the 6 year old in this picture?

I only went down into the canyon less than 1/2 mile.  Too much ice and no one around to catch you going down.

Most of the 1/2 mile way very icy.  I stopped at a dry spot and went no further.
I could see ice for miles down the canyon.

The Trip Down and Back

Headed back up now.

This person had the correct tools for the job.  I did not.  I had to move very slowly.

This guy had less than anyone else I saw.  He was running no less.

I can't  seem to get out of this place.  I plan to spend the night camping at the rim of this canyon camp site.

In the sack at 10pm and up and on the road at 6am.
